Dodge Viper RT/10

The Dodge Viper RT/10 was conjured up in the mid 1980's, developed in 1988 and debuted as a concept in 1989. Click here to view a picture of the model. In 1991 it was used as a pace car. Then in 1992 it was released for production. Over the next decade, the Viper was in for a big change.

 

The RT/10 was the base model Viper which spawned off into two different makes, the RT/10 and the GTS. The GTS is a coupe version (non cconvertible ). They both share the same power plant, a massive 450 bhp V-10. The new redesigned Viper, the 2003 RT/10, has a even bigger engine. It puts out an astronomical 500 bhp.
